Artist and Depression

For some reason artist and depression go together like burger and fries., I'm not really clear why this is but, this blog is my journey, with art, everyday life, depression and yes even JOY! Why do we creatives have such a hard time dealing with the everyday mundane aspects of life. I have my theories and hopefully I'll hear yours.

This is my journey of a 53 year old painter/husband/father and depression suffer.

TedAGillespie: St. Louis, Missouri, United States; Very happily married to the most awesome human being on earth. My friend and partner, the person I love to "hang out" with more than anyone. Father of 5 boys (2 step sons, I just don't know which two) Grandfather of one incredible grandson, Brody. Riding my Yamaha V Star is something that still just makes me want to hollar "I love this freaking Life!" Something about the freedom, the speed, the smells and the air hitting my face.
